I feel bit of a dope for asking this, i'm having real trouble trying to insert an image into a post. I click on insert image and a small window comes up for some sort of text to be written. That's when my brain goes totally blank.
Any help would be appreciated. Please bear in mind when it comes to computers i am a complete novice.
Cheers

Is it a web image or a image you have ?

ok if it's an image you have in your documents....click browse then double click the section in your computer where the pic is and then double click on the image.

If it's a image from another website. on the image itself left click and a box will come up and at the bottom of it it will sat PROPERTIES - click on that!!

another box will come up and somewhere on there will be the web address of that picture.
from the begining of that address right click and drag so the entire address ends up white on a blue background. Then left click
on it and then right click on COPY in the box that appears.

Then go to the advanced message page on WBW ,click on INSERT IMAGE and in the text box left click and click on right click on PASTE that comes up in the box!and the image address will appear in the box.Make sure it has http:// at the start.
If you do the same for INSERT URL it will create links to other sites.

Hope i got all this right , feel free to PM me if you have any problems

rocky, thats all fine and dandy, but if its an image from his hdd, he needs to browse from the "attach file" section.

from your HDD (Hard Drive)

Advanced Reply > Attach File > browse your hdd for the one you want

if its from a website

Advanced Reply > Insert Image > Copy and Paste the image url (which you copied earlier from right-clicking and selecting properties) into the text box > select OK

or

[img.]pic url here[/img.] without the .
