English Flag Request

I am ENGLISH, not British and would therefore like to request that the English flag be added to the country selection in the profiles. I don't lke the fact that I have to put the union jack up instead of the St Georges cross.

yeah I kinda always thought that was like asking Diz to put up a ny state flag or a nyc flag for me.

I guess there'll need to be a scottish flag as well

Not the same to all of you. You are AMERICA, made up of states, not countries. England is a country. You don't send 51 teams to the world cup, you send the USA. They dont send a UK team, they send England (they would send scotland, Wales and Ireland but they suck and can't qualify)

About theSt Georges cross: It remained in national use until 1707, when the Union Flag (which English and Scottish ships had used at sea since 1606) was adopted for all purposes to unite the whole of Great Britain under a common flag. The flag of England no longer has much of an official role, but it is widely flown by Church of England properties and at sporting events.

Uh we did secede at one time and SC was the first to do it. I'm so proud of my state

Plus soccer sucks anyway, you don't base whether or not a place is a country on whether or not they have a soccer team

That you should be, but please note the use of the word 'State'
