guess it depends on the law of the land then...

i've seen girls who've been asked to wear a top on for walking round in their bikini tops

"I wasnt suggesting we start showing topless 16 year olds, I just wanted to know what u guys considered nudity."

I know that :-) and I wasn't suggesting it either. I was just interested that her being topless was not considered "nudity" in UK law. I agree with player. There's a world of difference between a topless beach and a nude beach...

ummm hello british page 3 girls have often been under 18 and topless.

Your asking three questions

1) where can you go topless

2) is topless nudity

3) can 16 yo's pose nude/topless

1) I heard that in new york someone women posted the sexist law re men can and women cant go topless and won. But that doesnt make sense. The law is you cant show areola nor genitals, anus or the prebusicus (taint). Interestingly in Chicago men cant be "turgid" even if clothed. ie you get a woody in your jeans your in trouble.

2) hmmm nudity is what the local defines it as.

3) 16 yo's can pose topless in about every country that I know of not including the middle east or the asian countries. ie Samantha Fox, Gail Mckenna, Linsey Dawn mckenzie. All page 3 girls, under 18, who posed topless on page 3 of the newspaper!!! (for us U.S. people many dont know this) Yes even in the states its legal for a minor to pose nude. You cant expose the genitals, show them in sexual conduct, or in a lewd or lacivious manner. Ie for artistic purposes only.

Now a different issue is publishing topless 16 yo's. A topless 16 yo in rural Alabama is more likely to be considered "lewd lacivious or obscene" than in New York City. (sidenote-I believe there are strip clubs in NYC which have 16 and up. Tho that might have changed recently)

The rule is whatever the community considers obscene is obscene, basically.

Sidenote-thats the law-police dont always follow the law. Im guessing if you
