deleting temp file

ok , my roommate girlfriend is coming over nextwekend , and he asked me , how to clear his search bar at top so it doesnt show what he has been search , now i just told him to delet cookies and history and temp. files he did , but the sites still show up , i rember there was a way to delet certain websites off memory like that , individual ,but i dont rember how , he is using IE6

tools, internet options, clear history, delelte cookies

or delete offline files, I can't remeber I'm using a mac now

actual its not me , it is my roommate , i live in a apartment about 3 and half hours from parents awho , well back to the topic , heres the truth he looked up those pictures of chick off high school musical , anyway , his girlfriend would hate to see that he looked that shit up , even thow it was my fault he looked it up in the first place , and trust me i already looked threw his computer but , i dont rember , he running windows xp and i have windows vista on mine so i havnt worked with xp in a while and forgot the one way to do it

download a program called crap cleaner off of [blacklisted] it removes everything!

I use a program called "Free Internet Washer 2.8". It realy washes everything you need, including media player, etc... The best part is the boss button. When you klick it, it hides all you want and then brings them back.

Have to say, that method leaves stuff on your comp. Example if you have typed stuff in the address bar or in the google search, they might not leave. Also if you know something about windows, you can find a lot of cookies and stuff if you don't use external programs...

But if your GF is noobie whit comps, then there is no problem. Just don't underestimate your GF, and I can say this whit some bad experienses

Daggett, just perusing this thread, looked at ur comment, and works well. Ty, mate!

Also, Go into Tools/ Options/ Content/ and edit,uncheck,delete, (depending on your version) the autocomplete forms. This shoudl remove your addresses etc from the url and search functions.
