I'm agreeing with you, whatever "professional website content" means, I'm guessing twitter pics
A lot of pornstar/models selfshots comes from Twitter yeah but that's not what I was referring too. I was referring to websites that have professional content made by professional model (that sometimes looks amateur-ish). An example would be "nude-in-russia" content that is often uploaded here and is professional (nudist) content.

but I see lots of A list pornstars taking selfies on this site. These are women taking amature selfies, not pornstars
It doesn't change the fact the woman on the picture is a pornstar, even if she took the selfie herself. We don't allow that. Basically: if the woman on the picture is a professional model/pornstart/celebrity etc. we won't allow it for copyright reason and also because the website is about amateurs, real ones.

I think one issue is what may look like a "regular girl" taking a selfie in her bathroom to one individual, may actually be a recognisable porn star/pro model to another individual. Not everybody knows EVERY pro model as there are a fair few. I have loads of images rejected for being professional and I too was initially annoyed until I realised there's nothing you can do about it really. There is no benefit for the mods to delete acceptable images, so when one is deleted there is normally a reason behind it. I'm sure mistakes are made from time to time (pictures being deleted accidentally or being logged under the incorrect reason on the delete log) but generally a mod will delete an image because it breaks the rules in some way.
As I said, I used to get really annoyed as I actually google image search each of my uploads before I submit them. I do this because I think I'll be able to find the best resolution of each image but also it should become apparent if one is a professionsal (her name will usually come up). But still many of my images are deleted (mainly due to being cropped, although I don't really understand this particular rule, or know how to avoid it) - you just have to accept it or you'll drive yourself crazy with frustration! I guess it makes it feel that little bit more of a celebration when a couple actually make it through...
To summarise - the mods aren't actually here to make you enjoy the site less, they are refusing images because they've been told to do so via certain criteria. If you want your images to be seen then you should create a thread in the relevant forum and post your images via hotlinking (or feel free to add them to one of my various threads if you'd rather).
Thanks, that pretty much sums up what I'm trying to express.
I know you've be complaining/asking questions a lot about the moderating process and I'm glad you now get it
As for the cropping part, I have tried lately to not flag pictures that weren't obviously cropped (but were still cropped and duplicates) as duplicate instead of cropped. They are still rejected (as they should be) but at least you won't get a penalty for it (since the "duplicate" reason doesn't give you a malus). At least it's more fair since it's pretty hard to check those indeed.
