Copyright material

One of the Mods has recently had a rant about the use of 'copyright material'.
I would be interested to know what he defines as copyright. Bearing in mind that every photo or written text that one produces one actually owns the copyright to.
Also, copyright and professional material makes up the best part of all the post on this forum. Don't shoot yourselves in the foot!

I know that every picture and file has a copyright. And regarding the activities of this site, an anonymously created work (a picture or video without a name, or production company) would have a copyright of 95 or 120 years in the US from its first publication or creation date respectively.

But, the term "copyright" is in common use associated with medium and material with which there is a certain level of profit protection required. Amateur pictures and video have no economic return. Pictures of teen models, and videos of porn stars all serve as a tool to earn a company or individual a reward.

We are not shooting ourselves in the foot by preventing lawsuits. We allow hotlinking of pictures, and linking to pages with embedded videos on other sites. Which is a copyright issue not involving our site.

id also like to add that we do not accept any pictures that we believe to be taken by a pro photographer (lighting is too well, scenery, etc etc). we delete pictures where the model looks too pro, or she is a known pro/model. also if we know the name of the girl, it is immediately deleted. other than that all pictures are assumed to be amatuer and are treated as such until someone identifies them as otherwise, or someone reports the pictures saying it is them and requests the pictures be taken down - which we always do immediately.

Whoopass my ass. If you see what I mean. You talk the talk but you don't walk the walk. I could show you umpteen posts that feature pro models and copyright material that you don't lock or ban.
It seems you guys have no consistancy with your policy.

..... ok now youre just being rude. report the pics by using the report pic function. otherwise im tired of hearing about this from you. we were kind enough to answer your question quickly and i left this topic open for you just in case you had any further questions. so i find it a little odd that a nonpaying member is going to get shitty with us when we're trying our best.

and btw, the "rant" that caused you to start this was regarding my forum. dont bring other forums into this until you know their individual policy.
