completely black picture

recently i've seen a couple of pics that are jst plain black rectangles. both old pictures that i have already voted on, and new pictures. does any1 know the reason for this? is it something at my end causing the problem or otherwise?

Well there are a few possible reasons behind this problem. It could just be one of the following or a few combined.

- Image headers are incorrect.
- Image headers are broken.
- Image headers cannot be read by the server's image application.
- Image was not completely uploaded. (Missing data)
- Image was corrupt.

ah right, cheers kanzen

Try a different file format and reupload. Plenty of freeware apps to do so at http://www.versiontracker.com/

Re-encode your jpg

I guess since there is no more discussion. Thread locked.
