Changing files to jpeg?

How do i do this... so i can upload them.
its a bitmap image it says

Open it with Paint (if you use Windows) and save as a .jpg

try deleting your cookies and delete the files in the.. Internet Files.. under Control Panel. this helps my pic saves alot of times/
