Can we talk about AI images?

What's everyone's thoughts on AI images? Allowed? Restricted? Should there be a special category? It's becoming more prevalent and as it progresses I think it will be harder to stop. In the last few weeks I've seen some that are so lifelike, I'll bet I've already seen some and had no idea they were fake. As it gets better how are we going to be able to tell the difference? Or should we even care at all and just enjoy this impressive technology?
Also consider that there's different levels of AI being implemented, whether it's a slight face or body alteration, a complete face swap, removed clothing, or a 100% fake AI generated picture. It's an interesting subject and I'm curious of this community's general feeling.

In short. There are so many beautiful women in the world. So why do we need AI generated?

I am assuming the thread is really about do people care if you can't tell...but I would suggest to admin that there is a whole slippery slope around this as litigation around posting pics of people who don't approve (e.g. gf revenge type of stuff) has brought to light that just removing the pic doesn't constitute 'reasonable' action. So posting fakes based on AI would probably fall under the same umbrella. Just your fun fact for the day.

I agree with xerton. However, no matter what the results are in this poll and no matter what the rules become in WBW, it will be difficult to keep the AI images out. Most of us do not have the necessary software to determine AI from the real thing.

From a personal perspective, I don't like the fact that technology is so good now that AI fakes are relatively easy to create and, as you said, we've all probably seen several of them without realising. Part of the enjoyment of pornography is seeing images of women in various states of undress that we know (or think) are real, so to know that some of these images could be completely created by AI is a bit disappointing really.

Plus with my moderator hat on, I find myself second-guessing any really good-looking woman I see in the image queue, as I immediately think "it must be AI".

If WBW was a website just for general porn, I wouldn't mind AI pictures put in a separate category as they are porn the same way 2D or 3D porn art is.
But since the main point of WBW is amateur content, AI doesn't belong to the site imo as by definition an amateur is someone real.

There are tools to detect AI content from real persons, but the one I mostly used now requires an account and I'm not sure I want to bother doing that just for WBW moderation. AI porn still has some distinctive patterns or "vibes" but it is indeed getting hard to distinguish some AI stuff from slighltly improved regular pics.
As for pics that have face swaps, clothes removed etc. they still fall under the photoshopped rule and aren't allowed.

I'm really not a fan. I like WBW primarily for the amateur content and AI doesn't fit the bill. I would be fine if it had its own category, but I would want it split off into its own category that doesn't mix with amateur stuff.

Do we pay notice when some of the breasts are fake? I don't see comment even when they defy gravity and anatomy? They are no more real than AI, which I also find disappointing but none the less beautiful.

If you mean implants, they might not be natural, but they are real, as in they exist in real life. That's not the case of AI or 2D/3D stuff.
If you mean photoshopped boobs, they aren't real indeed and aren't allowed either.

I don't think it will be possible to keep AI off the site. It is not all amateur now or ever anyway. There are already AI images now. I think AI picture developers will be competitive trying to produce images that no one can tell they are artificial. I think AI should be put into its own division and kept here. They will be able to develop some pictures that are better than reality.

I would like to see the redundant images pruned back by the mods - some ridiculous series lately.

In order to have a specific category for AI images you have to be able to identify them. I'm not sure how that will be done.

It would seem you would have to use AI to identify AI images.

I'm seeing more of these photos from multiple uploaders where these old photos are being ran through AI filters to clear up the blurry face. This one is quite obvious so I'm using it as the example but I'm curious how the community feels about this since the general feeling is we don't want AI involvement.

The fingers and superficial lighting always give them away. I'm ok with them but they should be in a separate category..

I've deleted the pic.

I remastered this picture. One of these two is the one that is on this site, so I cannot upload the remastered version. It is a pretty old image. Look how old and tiny her phone is. I think the remastered version is much better. Anyone else agree?
