blacklist

is there a place we can go to see what is blacklisted?
just thought it might save time and space for everyone who doesn't know something is blacklisted.
or would that completely defeat the purpose of the blacklist?

i think some of the feelings where that its better this way to keep people on their toes.. and keep spammers out... although im not sure...for me as a non spammer its good to know what is blacklisted especially in terms of servers for image and vid hosting

is that a yes or no bout agreeing with me?

how about an item that is "permanently nlacklisted?I tried to submit a photo that I took myself,so I know it is not copyrighted and I know she is over 18...Why would it be permanetly rejected?

i personally think it would be great to have at least some of the most "infamous" blacklisted sites posted... the sites which we usually use here...

but i dont think posting every single blacklisted site would make sense.. plus it will only tell spammers how to get around the blacklist if its 100% comprehensive

as far as im aware the permanent blacklist in the photo queue is for pics that have been repeatedly posted... if ur are 200% sure that ur pic is urs and has NEVER EVER EVER been posted before then i suggest u talk to a picture moderator..

the way the pics are filtered is usually by arithmetic means...ur pic must fit the exact same criteria as another one permanently banned (unless its the same).

At least you should remember, imageshack and imgboot has been blackisted. Those are the biggest available.

I've asked this question of the mods (including Diz) before and the consensus was that a list would defeat the purpose of the blacklist. I've never gotten any grief for trying to post a blacklisted site that I didn't know about and the mods are easy to deal with when asking for a thread to be deleted.

Yes there is, but it'll come up as no TPL assigned since you don't have access to change the words in this filter.

This is a separate thing from what was asked here. Moderators with Delete Queue rights has the option to delete a picture and put it in a database to reject those pictures if someone tries to upload them again. Most likely it's me that put it there, maybe FeFe. Ofcourse I can't remember your pic so i can't say why I put it there. But it could be any number of reasons. You might be a good photographer and it looked pro, maybe you are bad and the quality is too poor, maybe the pic is too small or things like that.

Vesuvius,I assure you it does not look pro but it is a good quality pic. It has never appeared before and hell it is not even a nude,it is a sexy babe I met in key west...None of the reasons appearing here apply.
