I suck at uploading, but I delete a lot of stuff that is either pro or reposted, just because I recognize a bunch. That being said, I'm not actually a pic mod, so they save that job for people who are good at both, I guess.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but my first response to this comment was, "maybe that's why the queue has 20k pics in it." Just because someone is a shitty uploader doesn't mean they'd be a bad pic mod - if indeed that's part of the requirement.

I think being a pic mod is one of the worst jobs on the Internet. It's thankless, they catch a ton of shit, it's tedious and I've heard some of them talk about what they typically go through. I'm not saying it's fun. I'm just saying that if "being a good uploader" is part of the pre-requisite... I just don't see how those two things are related.

That's a big if, but "if" it's the case, that would be my reaction to it.

I think it would depend on how much of a shit uploader you are .. If you constantly upload pro/marked/stamped pics all the time (and there is enough of them that do) then I'd doubt you would get a look in cause you would just end up approving your own pro pics. I dont have anything to do with hiring mods so this is just my opinion
Reposts etc are different because, just like us mods, no one knows every pic in the galleries and thats not quite as bad as uploading pro/stamped etc.
That being said no one is perfect and we can all only do the best we can ..

For sure. Like I said, I blow. I really appreciate you all that do so well - and I really appreciate the pic mods that wade through all the shit too. I'm pretty much just here for the ride. Thanks for letting me tag along!

I've never given the mods shit about their job! now i've realised im (in part) part of the problem that gets them in shit from members who have no patients im defiantly going be be more selective with my uploads.

Man, this is like a school movie.

Maybe the mods and members really can get along just as well as the jocks and the math club ended up getting along.
