Babe Gallery material

Maybe this has been asked before, but just to be sure ...
If you use the upload a babe function and it is accepted, what for criteria are the moderators using besides the obvious ones?
Specifically, do the pics posted to the nude/non-nude public forums also count in deciding if a picture is a duplicate/repost.
I have seen a lot of pictures in these forums that I have never seen before on the babe gallery although they can be classified as babe gallery material.

I'm not sure what you mean by saying the "obvious ones" but one main guideline is, all the pics uploaded into the babe galleries are amateur pics, no professional models are allowed in the babe galleries...

those are exactly the obvious reasons (and underaged pics, pics with watermarks, doubles etc).

Also, bad quality pics are generally not accepted into the galleries

Every time a new pic thread is created, waves of members try to upload those pics to the galleries.
So much so, that when the queue is smaller, the pic mods are able to know what's happening in the forums without even opening a thread within like 5-10 minutes of the pics originally being posted.

As to whether or not the knowledge of the pic being in the forums is used, depends on just how frequently the style of pic comes up. However, you'd be amazed at how well you're able to discern duplicate pics, even though you modded the "original" several months back. When I go into the galleries, I'm able to see duplicates every now and then going back to my first days as a pic mod. And that was more than 3 years ago.

More specifically to your post, the most basic tool a pic mod uses, besides the obvious guidelines, is their memory. It's that simple. And no, the forum posts aren't included in determining if a pic is a duplicate. Although, they could consult the forum is they desired.

And as many pics as you've seen in the forums and the galleries, the pic mods have seen more. A lot more.

It must be my bad memory that I think I have never seen the non-pro forum pics on the gallery.

Memory can also be "dangerous".
You can think you've seen a picture before on the gallery.
But maybe it was only posted to one of the forums.
Or maybe not to WBW at all, but another site.
