first, I know this has been asked before, so I apologize for the "repost" question... I have tried a number of times to upload an Avatar with no success. I know for a fact that they have been under the maximum size (kb and Pixel size) and they have been .jpg files. any suggestions how I can get an Avatar uploaded? THanks in advance for the help.

I know you said you are sure, but are you 100% sure 
Try saving someones avatar, i.e mine.
Then upload that and see if it works, that way there can be no doubt.

maybe the pixels size isn't correct it's 100x270 not 270x100 as it stats in the editprofile this language error has to be fixed in the next version.

I'm also having the same problem with the avatar. I did make it 100x270 but said it was still too big so I had to make it smaller I made it 100x75 and it worked.
