Hi all - yes I'm a newbie, and yes I've searched the Forums/FAQ's
Here's the question: Attaching or inserting pictures is not covered in the FAQ's. I've tried but failed, so please will someone post a full description of how to do both. Also, if images are uploaded this way is there a wait until they are screened by the moderator, or do they appear instantly? I only ask in order to know if it's worked or not.
I think in general it would be a very good idea to have a special tab for newbies that goes to a page with a full introductory section. It could include all the basic etiquet questions, rules and technical know how we need. At the moment it's hard to find this info, so no wonder newbies ask lots of questions (I've read the thread on newbie bothering!)
I've run Excite and Yahoo groups before and I always had a special introductory page with the info I mentioned. Plus it was automatically e-mailed when people joined. It saved a huge amount of repetition of the same questions. Maybe you administrators should consider it for here.
In the meantime, if anyone can answer my technical question I'd be grateful.
Cheers!
