Account deletion

How do I delete my account?
Or is it only an admin function?

Just don't use it. If you want to start over w. another username, you can do that, or you can change the name of the current account. Accounts don't get deleted - either they are used, blocked, or gather dust . . .

ive always wondered why people ask for accounts to be deleted....its a free account, so no recurring fees, no spam etc etc.....and the only real solution is to just stop using it.....so, why ask abotu deleting it?

but, then again, i dont understand most questions people ask on here......because im so smart

maybe people don't want any personal info up there, but all that stuff is editable via the "Edit Profile" page

However, for the last day and a half, I have been fighting with viruses and trojans picked up from a link of your site.
So far I have been un f*****g my PC for 11 1/2 hrs in total

Now can you guess why I want my details off this site!!

unless your iq is above double digits

the virus link should be reported...

but WBW isnt to blame for you clicking a link TO ANOTHER site where you picked up viruses....

i can assure you, there are NO viruses here. also, deleteing your account here has NOTHING to do with that anyway....

As for the n00b, all you have to do (like scott2 said) is delete your details and almost never click an outside link when someone posts it. Ive been here over a year and have never seen a virus from a WBW link (that stayed on-site) anyway.

Think of it as a game. When a new link is posted, wait for the other fuckers on the board to try it out and if they start yelling DO NOT CLICK, VIRUS! then you are going to want to avoid that link.

Oh, and if they say or CLICK IT NOW! - you are about to be tubgirled... if you dont know what tubgirl is, you will love it.
