A question about uploads

Okay here's the situation, I've uploaded this pic, and it has been accepted but now it has disappeared form the website and I'm wondering what's wrong with it !? These two babes are gorgeous, over 18 and they're not professional models so what's the case ?

A repost perhaps?

Im going to say it was probably a double pic, and yours was the later one uploaded and was deleted.

In other words, the pic you uploaded was already on the site, one of the mods probably didn't notice until it was already on the site.

Once the pic was found to be a double, the newst one is deleted, the first on uploaded will stay on the site.

So how do the mods recognize all the previously uploaded pics? I've uploaded a bunch that get past the initial screen and are accepted, then they never show up. I'm not complaining mind you, I'm just commenting that I've never seen the pics that I upload, but they probably already exist, meaning that the mods must have an encyclopedic knowledge of the site.

Is there another way of checking to see if a pic is already in the database before uploading? It would save a lot of people a bunch of time.

Mostly it's experience. When you mod a thousand pics a week or more you learn to recognize the most common ones and others you've seen before.
There is a tool where pics get "banned" and can't be uploaded anymore. But if the pic is changed in some way, cropped or so it is possible to upload it again. But they might either be recognized initially or by someone in the gallery.

But there's no way for you to check if they're already in there unless you look manually.

Yup, and alot has to do with members reporting the pics also. It's a tough job

That's a plausible explanatin but if it really got cut off for that reason, well it's wrong cause I'm a 100% sure it has never been uploaded. I've never seen these two babes on the website, I have already uploaded a few pics of them and I'm sure I'm the only one ! Is there some way to upload some pics that has been rejected ? Cause I've got plenty of pics rejected that I know they're not repost ?

There are billions and billions of pics on this site, you haven't seen every pic in the database.

so there is no way you can say you have never seen the pic on here

Well let me present you how I know it's not a repost. I visit this website few times a week from more than a year now and I've watched every single pics from the categories Cute Babes and Sexy Babes. Also, I know that this particular pic has been taken this summer. So I'm pretty sure this pic hasn't been posted on this website before. I would have noticed if these babes had been posted before cause I tend to notice when a familiar face is posted here.

Let me present you with something.... I have been a member of this site since 2005, since then I have visited the galleries atleast once a day since I have been here and I haven't even seen all the pics in those two categories so how are you supposed to have been able to do that in only a year?

Also how do you know for a fact the pic(s) were taken this past summer unless in fact you took them yourself. If thats the case then no it hasn't been posted, unless you posted it, also if you did take the pic, type it out in the description that you took them but only if you actually held the camera and took the pic.

If you didn't take the pic then there is no way that you know that it was taken this past summer unless you were there, but you haven't said anything about that so that atleast tells me that you weren't.

With all this being said, unless you have an exceptional photographic memory there is no way what-so-ever that you would be able to know if an image had been uploaded here before.

There are 821,027 pics in the Babe Gallery, 280,026 of which are in the Cute Babe/Sexy Babe category. A person would have to average 767 images every day for a year to see all the pics in those two categories, or 2,249 images a per day to view the entire gallery in only one year. Assuming that someone could open a different image every 5 seconds, it would take 64 minutes to view 767 images, or 187 minutes to view the 2,249 images needed every day to see the entire gallery in one year. With all due respect to the OP, even if he did manage to accomplish such a feat, it would require enourmous mental capacity to recall each of those images precisely.

Reuploading rejected pics over and over tend to piss of the mods, I know since I've been in that business.

You might just have hit the nail there. You said you had uploaded more of those girls, maybe the mod recognized it and thought it was a repost. One doesn't always look at the name of the uploaders.

Trust us dude, if the pic was rejected there was a reason for it, complaining after given very good reason is going to lessen the chances fo your pic surfacing on this site ever again.
