5 star topic

I think that premium member's vote(s) should count more on rating posts( 5 star...). Actually it would probably be better if only premium members could vote at all. What do you think?

Only letting sponsor members vote threads would actually be a good idea. You could tell what your paying crowd likes to see.

Good point Jack. The non-paying members would still be able to participate, they just couldn't vote on anything...like an illegial immigrant.

Good point, but anyone who's been here for more than a month or so knows what the sponsor members like. There are very few threads with more than 20 or so votes that end up in the 3's. The thread is normally really low because no one likes it, or vice versa.

Also the argument that could be made is that there are a ton of non paying members that contribute 1000's of pictures, so shouldn't they have a say in thread rating also?

Another option could be maybe a probationary type of period for new non-paying members. say 6 months or so where they can't vote on threads. Not really sure what purpose it would serve other than people using that to boost thier rating or creating a ton of spoof accounts to lower someone down.

of course, people like Nikos, mistral, lilrika, chase etc....non are paying members and without them contributing like they do this site wouldnt have half the amateur porn it does. Why shouldnt they be allowed to rate?

i dont like the idea at all, paying members arent paying to see the pics so why should only their opinion count?

Let's do it like with the greylist. People under 100 posts aren't allowed to vote.

i think you should get points for voting but thats just me. Greylisting seems cool but i dont think nothing will happen. I think there has been several threads on this before.

Screw that idea. I AM a sponsor member and I realise that it is the non-sponsors that really make this site work and make it really great. I would bet major long green that the best 1000 threads are almost all non-sponsor and crew generated. Almost every Demi I have run across in the forums is a non-sponsor.It boogle my mind how many post you need to become a Demi. The thread rating system is , to me, not just there for surfers to judge a topic before they look at it... it is a pat on the back and a "thank you very much" or a slap in the face and a "hey, WTF were you thinking" to the poster . It is also an incentive and a challenge to think up and search out new and interesting things for WBW.
"Hey, I have an idea... lets get rid of the member rating system for non-sponsors. That way, the top members will always be sponsors and everybody else can just be PION untill they pony up a sponsor fee"

How about this. Non-sponsor members can contribute pictures and videos, and still recieve credits for movie posts in the gallery. When they get their credits, they have a choice. One vote per 100 credits, or use the credits to watch movies.
I also don't think that non-sponsors should be allowed to have avatars, unless they have more them 100,000 posts. However, the non-sponsors should be allowed to talk about what their avatars would be if they were sponsors (amongst themselves in the non-sponsors chat room). That seems fair to me. I also think that the s in sponsor should always be capitalized, when typed by a non-sponsor.

I also think that comments should be allowed in the members movie section. Have you ever watched one of those movies with your unlimited credits and just wished you could leave a comment? That way, the skewed "star" system could be bounced off the members comments section to make a good decision in downloads. This would help the non-sponsors more then the members, as the members have unlimited downloads..no credits.
