why the long wait for uploads?

The queue order is currently bugged.
Queue order should be determined by both your group (whether you are a good uploader or not) and the date you uploaded the pictures.
Unfortunately, only the first one is taken into account right now meaning good uploaders get the priority over bad ones, everytime. So group 5/6 uploaders gets their pics sitting in the queue for a while...
Hopefully Diz will fix this soon so that it's working as intended (or so that it goes back to a date based queue).
