/queue/ whiners RANT.

Okay people, get this through your skulls. If you're here and don't have a sponsor membership or aren't a regular contributor don't whine about the video queue or any queue. YOU'RE GETTING A SERVICE FOR FREE. The old and cliche saying is if you give a person an inch, he'll try to take a mile.

You're not paying for WBW's hardware. You're not paying for WBW's bandwidth. You're not paying for WBW's colocation costs. You're not paying WBW's maintainers time and effort.

Do you know how much money is spent on WBW? Its absurd. There are multiple servers. Hell we're on server 6 now. WBW's small income doesn't even barely cover the TERABYTES of data that goes out regularly.

So what does your whining really accomplish? Does your constant pestering us about things we already know about help? Hell f*cking no. Yeah the babemovies queue is slow as frozen shit in January. We all know it. Stop whining about it. If you really want to help, get a sponsormembership. What? $50 for a whole year's worth of unlimited downloading? How is that anything but a great deal? Some websites want $30 a month for like 100 videos. You get thousands here. Want to know what your money is going to? Straight to WBW. No one here in the Crew gets paid. All that money goes towards WBW.

Help us afford a few extra machines, and a few extra licenses for copies of DivX encoders so things will be faster. $50 between 40 people is more than enough for us to afford an upper end machine to encode on. Thats what would really help. Not whining on the boards like dozens and dozens of other people have.

As for the image queues. How about this? STOP UPLOADING 500+ PICS AT A TIME. Also why not actually look through your pics before you upload them. Thousands and thousands and thousands of pictures are rejected because they don't meet the baseline requirements. Whining isn't going to make your pics move faster. All it does is slow us down because we have to take the time to read and reply to those frivolous threads.

For those of you that think you deserve more from a service you get for free. Take a flying leap.

there are so many of these threads about noobs (I assume I still count as one) who complain about the credit system....I think anyone who complains should get their ip address banned permanatly

I couldnt have said it better myself, I'm not a sponsor member at this time but I've read all the stickys, and I dont ask for much if anything at all.

No, everyone deserves a chance to amend. It's better to make 100 topics and hope some noobs will read it and be good members then to ban 10 accounts. And another 10. And another till the end of the WBW.
