Well, I figure I'll spend less time learning how to speak Dutch at the devsite than I'll spend re-logging in and reloading pages at the live site, plus I'll be able to understand when the Dutch crew makes fun of me in the office.

Do you have these timeouts frequently?
Is this since the launch of the new version?
Yes? can you do a ping to "whatboyswant.com" and copy/paste the output.
When you time out, can you provide the server and time of timeout?

I would estimate that between 5-15% of all the pages I try to load timeout, or the layout is messed up. It goes in cycles though, sometimes the site is fine for a half an hour, then I can't reach the livesite no matter how many times I refresh.
I started noticing timouts at the livesite about a week or two before the launch. I was using the devsite, all the time except when I clicked on someone elses forum link, which brought me back to the V5 livesite

Yeah, I can ping the site, but I'm not sure how I will know what server I'm trying to reach when it times out because the timeout page isn't from here, it just a default page from within the browser.

I don't know how this is going to be helpful, but here goes anyway.

I was in the "Staying Logged On" thread and clicked "Feedback" but nothing happened. I figured it was going to timeout, so I scrolled to the bottom of the page just in time to see that I was on "Alice" before the timeout page (like in the screenshot a few posts up) appeared

can you do as followed: ping -n 1000 whatboyswant.com

And only copy/paste this part:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 202ms, Maximum = 206ms, Average = 203ms

Thanks in advanced.

^^^ That message just timed out too. The post went through, but it timed out and I had to hit "Try Again" on the Timeout page to get back to this thread.

I'm going back to IE6 for a while to see if that's working OK.

What, you don't want a 1000 lines of text? I'll get back to you in 206 million ms but I can tell you that the first ping timeout occured within the first 10 attempts, and then again about 50-60 later. I hope my ISP doesn't turn off my service for conducting an DDOS attack on WBW

[FAULT] On the babe comments only (Not the forums) the emoticons don't work. When you click on them nothing happens. It doesn't past the code into the quick comment box.
Happening on Safari 4 / FF3 on my mac

Think I forgot to update the global.js javascript. Will do so later on, written down on my to-do list.

I don't like it, no sir I don't like it at all.

But, that wasn't what was asked here. The bold tag [b] does not work with the dark layout. It barely works on the normally lay out, as in you can barely tell a post or word has been made bold, and it has no effect at all on the dark layout.

I'm not experiencing any problems seeing bold text with either theme?
