My own observation, maybe others have noticed this... Only about 15-20% of Uploads make it to Queue... And then, of that queue, 75-80% are decided to be "Professional/Celebrity"... Just for good measure, I have tried uploading "selfies" - photos that clearly are coming from the girl's phone. This in mind, how is it determined that, of these, 75-80% are "Professional/Celebrity"? I mean I suppose there are women that post these selfies for money, but they are almost always watermarked - and y'all can tell if the photos have been "cropped". I have been a member here since eons ago - maybe 20 years - and only recently have my uploads been so nit-picked... Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this? It makes a guy not want to upload anymore. p.s.: Are we no longer given points for picture uploads?

I’m not invalidating bias by any means, but I would assume a lot of these photos are hitting on OF model or cam accounts in searches, etc. Though they may not be traditional celebrities, I figure that’s the closest label they can give to such content.

There’s just so many now that it’s pretty impossible for one person to know whether the content they’ve sourced is originating from such a model. I know I’ve uploaded quite a few that I thought were from legitimate women and it turned up they weren’t.

No most pro pics aren't watermarked anymore. It was the case before when most pro stuff came from websites specialised for them with pornstars and all. But nowadays, most pro stuff is onlyfans content and and such. And while the OF content itself can be watermarked, a lot of OF women also upload content elsewhere to advertise, mainly on reddit. In that case, there's no watermark but the content is still pro.
A selfie doesn't mean the content is amateur either. Even back in the days, pornstars would take selfies and post them on social medias. Nowadays, OF content is often selfie anyway.

As for how those pro pics (or cropped pics) are identified : mainly through reverse searches. For pro, those searches will either give the name of the model, or links of posts where the username can be looked into to find OF links for example. For cropped, the searches would give a result of the uncropped pic.

So since you joined the site, not only has the content on the internet evolved, but moderation tools also have (there were no reverse search engine back in the days and we could only rely on our own knownledge)

Hope it helps.

I'm assuming you are a moderator for this site? What is YOUR process for screening the uploads? No one has commented on HOW this site determines its content.

Yeah I'm a mod (you can see that from the little shield under my avatar)

The mod process has been commented plenty of times (you'll probably find many discussions in the feedback forums).
But as a quick summary, we have a set of rules that corresponds to the different reasons for rejections you can see in your moderation log. You can see those rules when you upload stuff by clicking the "upload guidelines" link on the upload page.

Personnaly, I first check the pic to see if there's anything that is straight away a rejection reason (stuff like watermarks, UI elements indicating a screenshot, bad quality etc.)
Then if everything's alright, reverse search the pic to check for pro/cropped/alterations (sometimes if I have doubts, also check if the pic is AI generated).
If nothing found, select the category that fits the best and approve it.

Not intending to hijack this thread, but would be possible for WBW to implement a way that would tell us who the pro is is a pic gets rejected for that reason? I think it'd be useful for a couple reasons; so the uploader can actively check themselves if they have a set of the same person; and also for curiosity - if, like me, they're a collector, we could potentially go and find more of them.

My own reverse image searches don't always find pro/OF models and I'm genuinely curious as to who they may be!

That actually crossed my mind a few times.
It would both prevent instances were people complain their uploads weren't pro (but in fact were) since they would actually get the name of the model/site, and would force mods to be sure a pic is pro before rejecting it as such. However, that would mean a slower moderation process.

They wait over a month now, so what's a few more days? At least the mods would have to actually do their job right!
Maybe Diz could get them all new glasses, then they might be able to get the pics in the right category also.

Personally I have no problem in moderation taking a day or two longer for it, it seems like it'd be a win for everyone. And I didn't even consider wrongly rejected pics, but it'd definitely be a plus especially if they are mistake for someone else (think a few of mine have been rejected as pro for this reason). But mainly for the "oh so THAT's who it is" moment!

It'd be great if everyone uploading did to a reverse search first but that won't happen
