This is why I always immediately take our photos off! But I'm glad that they didn't, she's a hottie!

To be honest taking your photos off the camera wouldn't protect you from this kind of thing. It is stupidly easy to recover photos from a camera or flash drive even after it has been formatted.Quote:

I'd be curious to know how to recover erased pictures from my camera once they've been erased. There is no described way of doing this in my camera's manual. Anyone?

As long as you don't take any more pics on that particular memory card, most camera stores can recover deleted pics

To recover accidentally deleted pictures try looking on the cd from your camera or check the website of the memory card. there is often a utility to recover files.
If not there are a lot of "free download" programs that will scan your card and tell you what can be recovered, but charge $25-$40 to register and actually recover the pictures. search for "undelete"
