A couple of reasons.

Non-approved external links are greylisted, would not show up, and would cause more work for the mods. To borrow from FeFe, I don't want to be seen as a scum sucking spam fucktard who wants to ruin our lovely community here by greedily posting links to make money off of referrals.

Even though neither I nor the author to whom I refer make one red cent off of the stories, I still don't want to be associated with one of these sheep fuckers who want nothing to do of helping or giving to the community, Eventually no real visitor would have a reason to visit. Who would buy or join a group just to be pestered by ads? Would you buy a DVD if it were only advertisements?

My sig was as far as I was willing to go in the way of advertising. And by the way, if any mod thinks that my sig goes over the line let me know and I'll change it as soon as I see your message.

Bottom line is that I like it here and I don't want to make more work for the mods or clutter up the site with external links that don't have a naked girl at the end. But thanks for asking.
