well, if you really want to learn how to split it, first thing you need to do is download winrar (you can get it pretty much anywhere, download.com is a good bet). Then when you're in the winrar program, the simplest thing to do, really, is to use the wizard tool and follow the instructions there (there's an option for splitting it up). hope this helps.

by the way, given the file size of the vid, you may not need to split it up as it will probably compress to under a megabyte anyway.
