i can only imagine that a very small % of all the healthy big lunged women that jsteel and zeus have posted are vegan... i trust if you are a true kool aid drinking member of PETA you are not a vegetarian... what a bunch of hypocrits...

I'm not a vegetarian but im also not cruel to animals and i don't eat meats that come from certain places and wear certain stuff and after seeing videos Peta had posted and made public... animal cruelty just pisses me off even more. Some of the stuff people do to animals and what i seen them do in those videos is just wrong!

Humanely killing an animal for food, and skinning one alive for it's fur are two vastly different things.

God gave us divine dominion over the beasts (animals) and fowl (birds) on HIS Earth. It is only the excess of this that shames man. There are laws to protect certain wildlife, so the law should deal with them, not PETA which is just another version of the damn TREE HUGGERS...

I'm against cruelty to animals- not because animals have rights, but because humans have a responsibility to act humanely.

But hold on a second here... one of these adds decried sheering sheep-- sheep are not killed to get their wool, in fact if you've ever seen a sheep that has gone for a long time without being sheered, you might even say it's better for them that they ARE sheered.

Also, another ad does the "You wouldn't wear your dog's fur" route, but PETA is staunchly AGAINST animals being owned as pets. They're even against using guide dogs for the blind- saying that it is tantamount to animal slavery. Being against pet ownership, but being willing to use it to sell your point is just hypocritical.

Yea we should act humanely but unfortunately some people are just down right cruel

I don't see anything wrong with a sheep being shaved!?

also iv seen dogs (as pets) in the peta offices so...

I couldn't even finish watching that video. What is wrong with some people. It actually brought a tear to my eye the way they were beating them and pulling their fur off like it was just some sweater.
