maybe im an idiot but when i download theses files i get a .rar ? what is that and why cant i play it?

You need to download and install a RAR unzipping program. A RAR file is essentially a "suitcase" that allows files to be placed inside of it, often much reducing the overall size of what's inside in un-RAR'd (viewable) form, and is essentially very similar also to a ZIP and a TAR file, which are also "suitcases" if you will. I highly recommend WinRAR, which will also open ZIP files as well, and best of all it's free! I (and probably just about everyone here) has been using this program for over 10 years now in various versions. Do a search on Yahoo or Google for WinRAR - hope this helps dude
