1994 Dodge Venom - a concept car born from an attempt by Dodge to create a modern muscle car. Surprisingly, it was based on a modified platform from the Dodge Neon, which was a rather dull and generic car. Powered by a 3.5 liter V6 and built using some lightweight materials, such as kevlar, aluminium and carbon fibre, it might have been a pleasure to drive, especially being RWD. However, Dodge never approved it for production and revised the idea of building a modern muscle car in 2008, with the Challenger.
