this was sold to be restored: she was in need of a complete new hydraulic system, steering, braking, the whole lot! also some minor rust, some new plumbing and a complete renovation of the cylinders and exhaust system!
this one has brought me in 4years time over 166 000km (about100000 miles) and all over western europe with great ease and at low costs. but now she was 17 years and had over 300 000km. anyhow, i really hated to see her leave, but she was urgent need of medical attention an driving this beauty had become really downright dangerous the last few weeks. anyhow, i really needed a new ride, and i just happened to fall onto the xantia by sheer luck. because i really need an autaumatic gearbox and i prefer diesel... so this had to go... i'm wondering if i'll ever see her again, the guys that were gonna restore it, said they would leave the stickers on, so she'll be very recognisable!

i know you said you got a new car, but what happened to this one ???
