This was a fully functional concept prototype that was see during the Sixties, and morphed into the third generation of production Corvettes (beginning with the 1968 model...the overall body style was often referred to as the "Coke Bottle" shape...owing to the bulging fenders an' relatively "cinched waist" middle...The production vehicle was toned down a bit in it's styling, but the Mako Shark's influence in the street version is unmistakable...♫ ♪ ♫ ♪
