No power steering, having to double de-clutch, vacuum brakes, heaters that blew warm air at your feet or to the screen, not both, no radios, SAT Navs, sprung seats, we had two speed back axles and/or splitter gearboxes, you had to be nifty on your feet to double de-clutch and use a splitter/two speed at the same time,it was like playing drums. I loved it. My daily driver now I'm retired is a 72 year old American pick-up with 3speed crash box, no power steering and no servo brakes.
Been driving artics for 21 years and realise we have it easy when you see what driving vehicles 40-50 years ago was like.
