Lia, I think you hit th' nail right on th' head...Speaking as a straight guy who's been divorced 18 years after a long marriage, I believe you are quite correct. Most males are not nearly so gifted in the ways of nurturing an' gentle caring...on the other hand, many women seek that, especially if they have been on the receiving end of cruelty an' aggression in earlier relationships. I especially like your last line - "females are softer and usually smell sweeter...." That's delightfully candid an' true, regardless of one's lifestyle persuasion...

Just as simple as that. I see a good looking man, and I say to myself "gee...that's a good looking man".
I see a good looking woman, and I say to myself "she is gorgeous" and then see if I can get close to that beautiful energy.
