I am looking for a good way to repair recovered files, i.e. pics and videos. These are home videos that I shot on my camera and would love to repair them so I could view them. Any suggestions or tips?

hey Crazee,
In what way are they damaged? are they on a dvd you cant read? are they on your hard disk, or still on camera?
Do they have a reasonable file size ie not zero bytes ? Post the file properties if you can.
you could also try the freeware here Ive not tried it myself thou so no recommendation http://www.filerepair1.com
Good luck and report back.

Oh and I have no idea how they are damaged. When I try to open them after recovery it says filed damaged could not play yadda yadda. So I am trying to find a method as to which to repair these files. Thanks for the assistance so far!

Recuva is decent software. Acronis makes some awesome software also.
