I had the woman look at the first 2 pics and I thought she was gonna lose her lunch

My thumb after a fight with a horse, needless to say, I lost! Who knew a horse could rip a thumb off?!

OUCH! Did it bite it off, or was the lead wrapped around your thumb?

I have had two horses in my life that absolutely refused under any circumstance to be cross-tied. One broke a 1-1/4" rope that was tied in a slip knot at the top of the neck. The strength of a horse that is motivated by the flight response never ceases to amaze me.

A few good horse stories in my life, but no photographic evidence of the horrors.

you know what they "Mess with the bull..." It's my job to pick up the pieces and transport them to the ER so this is everyday life for some of us. Oh yea I LOVE when the bull wins!

The first two pictures were right after the doctors remove the compression bandage. The last picture was a month after the surgery. The right leg hurt like hell when they took off the compression bandage it felt like they were ripping the skin of my leg.
