Changing Email question

Under account setting's, it says that if I change my email I will have to re-activate my account. My question is will I lose my favorites, credits, post count etc.? I no longer use that old address and would like to update it without losing everything..

I don't think you lose anything for re-activating the account.

Seems risky. There is no explanation of what "re-activating" means.

They want to confirm that the new email is actually yours. I just did it 5 min ago...

You dont lose anyting by changing your email. I changed mine once and nothing was missing.

Re-activating just means you receive an email on the new address you provided and have to click a confirmation link.
