Bug / Missing features / Suggestions thread

Since the site update, there have been a lot of feedback about it so here you will find a list of bugs and missing features that have been reported as well as suggestions.
I'll update it so that you can check what have been corrected / added (or not) according to Diz fixes and comments.

Please try to only post here to strictly report bugs, missing features and suggestion. Also read what's already here before.
If you just want to discuss things, there is another thread here.

So here we go :

BUGS FIXED :

• site is slow


• when editing a post we go back to the first post of the thread instead of our post


• open a new tab when quoting = raw quote on the background and no more layout and impossibility to post
solution : do not quote in a new tab

• same problem as above when quoting a comment in the gallery


• user stats not imported yet


• "Hot or Not" not working


• "top babes" and "top movies" not filtered by category / member status


• forums search not working


• can't choose the brand/model when uploading a car


• progress not showing when uploading pics/movie - doesn't work on Chrome/Safari


• smiley box is empty

• URL and image not working in private messages


• mobile devices can't access drop down menus


• sticky thread not showing if they haven't been updated recently (ruled by the "Display topics from previous days?" setting) : they should always be shown


• when on http://whatboyswant.com/babes/archive the years are all written directly on the background (impossible to read) and all next to each other. I think a frame is missing here


• quoting a post with BBcode element (i.e. Youtube video) in it will remove a part of the quote instead of just the BBcode) : http://whatboyswant.com/forums/read/158826/page:2


• clicking on someone's friends list show us our own friend list and not his one.


• when editing a comment in the galleries it doesn't work and when we go back to the picture/movie, there is a new comment from "anonymous" with the edited comment : http://whatboyswant.com/babes/show/1512011/week/page:1#postNumber1


• some favorites pics get duplicated in the favorite page : http://whatboyswant.com/users/profile/722288 - problem is back


• some recent videos appear as moderated by "anonymous" - These are very old movies, the new encoder can encode them without errors.


• taglist not up to date (change made on existing ones have been reversed and exercising is missing)


• quotes are broken in PM (they appear as : & quot; )


• an iPhone user can't see the menu (Home, babes, movies etc.) - The menu is located under right icon!!


• in tagsearch, the "clear" button at the bottom doesn't work


• DEMO can't remove mod rights


• comments don't seem to always be sorted by date (one or two comments often appear at the top but they are not the first one to have been posted, e.g. http://whatboyswant.com/babes/show/710406/ )


• the checkpoint brings error message for non mod user (see here and here)


• pictures viewed in Hot or Not doesn't count for the "pic viewed" stat in profile


• when uploading pics in a zip, site says no pics were uploaded (even though it worked)


• deleted pictures stay in favorite (blank thumbs) - Added a repair button to favorites


• some members have a random : "Access is denied to this object" when trying to view pics


• when reporting a comment, the reasons suggested are not related to a comment (flame, insult etc.) but to a picture/movie (pro, duplicate etc.).


• deleting an account actually don't delete the account


• too much friends sometimes cause the friend list to go out of the main frame


• HTML5 player on windows 8, doesn't work properly (downloads whole movie before playing)


• the GOTO function doesn't work on IE9 (always lead to page 1)


• when counting the number of replies to a thread, the site counts the OP (so if noone answered the number of replies is 1 while it should be 0)


• after x amount of time, a comment can't be edited anymore - by design, there is a grace period for editing your comments


• the "similar photo" feature in the picture moderation doesn't work


• for some people, the avatar page doesn't work : "Not Found Error: The requested address '/users/avatar' was not found on this server."


• if member x edits a post that have been previously edited by member y, the date will update but the name will stay the same


• when looking at the last comments of one member, all links on his name are http://whatboyswant.com/false/users/profile/xxxx instead of http://whatboyswant.com/users/profile/xxxx


• when choosing more than 90 for "Picture thumbnails per page?" setting, it will only display 100 thumbs


• smiley box not working in PMs


• when looking at the last comments of someone (unless there is not last comments) : "CakePHP: the rapid development php framework An Internal Error Has Occurred.


• when deleting a picture from the gallery : "An Internal Error Has Occurred. Error: An Internal Error Has Occurred." The picture seem to be deleted as we can't edit or delete it but it seem to remain in the cache and can be viewed for a few minutes instead of disappearing instantly like before the patch


• quick view/download buttons don't appear when mousing over thumbs with IE


• on the series page : no thumbnails for video series


• some options missing on Chrome when writing a post (bold, URL link etc.) - See here - Nevermind, it was an addon issue


• On IE8, when trying to upload an avatar that respects the rules : "The avatar you uploaded is not the correct filetype"


• when quoting someone who has deleted his account (anonymous), the reply tag breaks : [reply=]. It should be [reply=Anonymous] so that it works correctly


• picture rating not visible with the dark theme


• for some members, trying to remove a favorite cause it to duplicate instead


• stickies not showing in "view new post" page


• it's not possible anymore to add a reply to a wall post by clicking "comments" as it leads to an "internal error"


• hot or not isn't totally random and only show the oldest pics first


• awesome button disappear for some members for no apparent reason.


• when reporting an item, it always ask for at least 10 characters in the description field but some reasons don't need to add a description (under-age for example).


• youtube videos make mobile users crash


• quoting a post containing .to will remove the .to and everything not separated from it with a space


• "download all" (favorites) button not working on FF


• the upload progress bar doesn't work


• friends aren't sorted alphabetically in the friend list


• properties in the funny section don't work


• only recent comments appears when viewing them all from the profile


• the Top Babes page shows some pics as rated while they haven't been


• main titles on the front page not visible with default theme but another background


• videos can't be played on some devices (apparently safari + ios based mobile devices)


• the "last comments" page of every section doesn't work


• if a member has his upload rights suspended, he won't be able to change his avatar


• the cry emote doesn't work


• the progress green bar isn't shown anymore below the user level


• on the PM page, the radio buttons to select messages are outside (to the left) of the layout


• the download button on video thumbs doesn't work (blank page)


• can't change background : "request black-holed : '/settings/sitebackground not found' "


• when reporting a picture, the "professional" reason appears twice


• big pictures aren't resized to the foroum layout


• attachments on forums are displayed vertically instead of horizontally


• the member search button doesn't work (memberlist page)


• page numbers and goto field have white background in the dark theme


• when linking pictures, the thumbs of linked items appears vertically


• the URL field when linking pics/vids is too short


• vote counts seem to decrease while it shouldn't

CURRENT BUGS:

• IE users can only save pics on png and bmp, no choices for jpg


• when linking pictures, the URL entered do not disappear after pressing "link"


• forums links to post are not always correct if someone is using a different number of post per page


• sometimes, when using the quick reply, the site will go to advance reply instead of posting


• some people are getting an internal error when attaching more than 1 pic to their post


• sometimes an upload might get wrongly rotated in the queue while it was initially not


• there are white frames around items (thumbs on top row of each babe/movies/cars + thumbs on queues overview)


• when enlarging a picture (clicking an attachment or an item in queue for example) the picture will display but will be slightly pushed to the right


• on the page to link pics : text in URL field + link button don't appear with dark theme


• big avatars will go out of their layout


• With dark theme, the text in the credit page doesn't appear (white on white)


• With dark theme, titles of movies are white font on a white box background


• forum search does not display result more recent than January 2014

MISSING FEATURES :

• search for movies


• number of pic per page option


• number of posts (in forums) per page option


• ability to see friend's online/offline status directly on the profile page - Added


• ability to download pages of favorites


• quick view for pictures


• site map/links at the bottom of the page


• number of comments on pic thumbs


• URL currently browsed by members in the "who's online" page is missing


• ability to see what we have voted on, in the top babe page (suggestion on how to add it : http://whatboyswant.com/forums/read/158809/page:4#postNumber31 )


• dollar conversion par membership costs


• ability to preview out post when posting or creating a thread


• ability to send PM to friends directly from inbox


• setting to choose if we want cropped or full thumbs in the galleries


• when reporting a picture/movie, add the option "picture/movie is a repost"


• ability to hide favorites from others


• ability to quickly remove favorite directly from the favorite page - Planned


• when editing a post on the forums the note 'This post has been modified by" should not display if it has been edited a few minutes after it has originally been posted


• option to download all attachments on one thread


• in the report reasons : add "under-age"


• ability to see all time top babes/movies/cars

For mods :

• crew statistics missing


• taglist management missing - Planned


• members "abuse note" missing (+ the feed to see the recents ones)


• permanent taggers management page - Planned


• ability to delete multiple posts in a thread


• ability to remove attachments in posts


• ability to add an abuse not (without any action)


• ability to send forced PM

LAYOUT :

• front page too messy (add space between the 4 big frame to make it more clear + organise it)


• tagsearch : fixed and same size for the fields


• move the option for a post (quote, report, edit etc.) to the upper line (on the right of # Posted by etc.) so that the text of the post is not weirdly cut


• mobile layout seems to cause problem for some people, too large


• default background color is too much distraction for the eyes


• video titles are cut (there is still space to make them longer + add a mouse over that show the full title when it's very long)


• too much empty space : left part of a post (where the avatar is) should be less large + comments are too damn high


• forums favorites should be sorted by last reply order, not thread creation order


• reduce the size or number of stuff on top of pictures/movies in the top babes/top videos pages


• move the "fullsize - report - properties etc." bar on top of the picture to avoid scrolling


• add a "delete" button at the top of the delete queue page


• add a "go to page" field in the delete queue page and all the page that have multiple page browsing (galleries etc.)


• in the greylist modding page, add a link to the post where the greylisted linked have been posted


• in the queue moderation : some UI improvments here


• on the PM page, move the "delete" and "block" buttons to the right to avoid mistakes


• add quick informations (number of posts for example) below the avatar on forums/comments


• on iPad, the links to the different pages of a thread disappear when there are more than 10 (screenshot)


• move the "link together" and "remove link" button in series moderation on top of the page to avoid scrolling


• add a link to the tagging FAQ in the tagbox + links to uploads rules on the upload pages


• the icon for the WBW pages is just a white square. It would be better to have a proper icon


• when only one person liked a post it says "x find this awesome". It should be "x finds this awesome". Replacing find by found would correct the issue easily.


• wrong link to the rules for the movie upload page. It should link to http://whatboyswant.com/forums/read/46962/Copyrighted_Or_Professional_Material_Is_Not_Allowed.html/limit:10


• on the post list of a user (whatboyswant.com/forums/userposts/xxx) the link to the post should link to the exact post and not the beginning of the thread


• remove the AddThis script for social sharing (see here)

SUGGESTION :
They are mainly taken from the previous beta and have already been posted but there are a few new ones..

COMMUNITY :

• possibility to "follow" members and be notified new uploads/(favorites)/posts from these members - Planned


• possibility to order your favorites (folders and/or filters for example - see this post)


• titles (or achievement) based on activity (upload, posts, tags etc.)


• anti-troll voting system : block votes from member having an average voting below x (too low to be real) or above y (to high to be real) with a minimum number of z votes (to avoid blocking newcomers).


• live chat box/page maybe ?


• new themes (with a dark one) - Planned


• translation to other languages ?


• ability to send a PM to multiple members

GALLERIES :

• some feature to group pictures from the same girl/set on the gallery. Instead of writing the link in the comments, have an option to link the picture to another one and the links would appear somewhere (in the properties for example).


• see the rating bar under thumbs in gallery / tagsearch result (like in the current top babes page) so that we can quickly see pics we haven't seen yet


• possibility to filter pics by rating (only show pics above x) and by MY rating (only show pictures I voted x/above x)


• possibility to change our votes


• more informations on picture thumbs in our uploads (or maybe elsewhere) : score, views etc.


• when clicking on a "normal" link of a picture (for example from the home page), the next and previous button should cycle though all pics instead of just in the same category of the current pic


• ability to download a series


• "babes > series" and "movies > series" should be different pages for series respectively containing pics and vids

TAGS :

• when a tag is fully written on the tagging box, pressing enter should add it (to avoid having to arrow down)


• ability to exclude tags from search (for example : bikini + *not*beach to see pics of bikini girls but that don't have the beach tag)


• ability to add options to the tag search such as sorting by rating or search only in favorites/my uploads


• a tagme page (like hot or not) only showing pics/movies with less than 5 tags (5 is the lowest complete tag count I've seen so far, if it's below, some tags are necessarily missing)

FORUMS :

• make the forums work like modern ones : keeping track of what you've read or not even if you logout without having read everything (so that when you come back, you don't miss posts)


• make the "go to last post" button go for the last unread post instead


• a "thank" or "like" button for each posts that give credit to the poster (currently only thread starters gets credits)


• sort the favorite threads by main forum section


• a page dedicated to awesomes the member gave and that people gave to him (with links to posts)

MODS

• statistics for permanent taggers (like the current crew statistics)


• ability for mods to see who added a tag


• checkbox when rejecting pics/movies with the usual reasons. Then, every day/week/whatever the uploader get a report of all the reason given within this time lapse (with thumbs if possible)


• auto "abuse note" when someone change his username (something like "memberx" changed to "membery" ) - Added


• be able to change a pic to the same but in better quality or uncropped (improve the site quality while letting the credit to the original poster) + notification of the mod who uploaded to better quality pic + stat in admin page


• a page to see daily birthdays so that we can give these members things (message or credit gifts)


• "clear queue" button to remove a whole upload queue

Have stroke two items of the list.

The pictures on the home page are so large that they reduce the mount of choice & the lack of thumbnails at the foot of the picture is a shame, we used to get a selection, now it's only previous or next.

Congratulations on your good humour, lots of work, but it would be a shame to lose some of ease of use available on the old site.

In the babes archive, when you click a date the day that loads is actually the day before that date. Interesting redesign. Site is very slow now (but you know that).

Tag admin (add/edit/delete tags)
Taggers list (shows a list of perm taggers)
Page you can view last activities of your buddies.

Front page messy and too cluttered. The facility to quick view in babes gallery with the ability to click "next" or "previous" on the actual picture as it was previously, is sorely missed

Will be added in a quick patch that will be rolled out in a couple of days.

Suggestion: Add stats to the thumbnails in your upload pile. Like Score, Votes, Views and Comments (I like watching that for my uploads, especially comments)

Missing feature: Dark theme, all this light makes my eyes bleed :P

Other then that and the home page that I've mentioned in another thread I totally love the new look! Awesome job Diz! Just gotta work out the initial quirks like the site being a little slow and stuff.... But I really love it.

The home page seems to cause problem for a lot of people, it's already reported

As for the +2/-2 pictures, it caused problem with server load and database in the last version. So instead, there will only be on previous and next picture.

The first suggestion : it's in "missing feature" at least for the number of comments.
I'll add the "more option" in the suggestion though.

For the theme, it's in suggestion (in community) and I think Diz already said it was planned.

I've noticed a bug when clicking quote on a members post in the babe gallery. When clicked, you get a blank screen.

Another bug that was reported in the other thread, that I don't see here is that you can no longer "fast forward" movies by clicking on the progress bar.

Suggestion: On the front page, when I click on the button to make the front page display FORUM instead of COMBINED or BABES or whatever-

Make it stay that way until I change it. It always goes back to the Combined setting. I don't want to have to click it every time I return to the front page.

When quoting posts, sometimes only a portion of the quoted post is imported.

Ability to change the number of posts displayed in the forums to something more than 10.

The galleries have so much information displayed on top of the thumbnail/screenshot that you can't even see if you want to open the movie/picture.

Start using Captchas again cause the spam is crazy.

2 things when loading the Friends List:

-There is a blank buddy loaded in the first slot on the list (at least for me)
-Clicking on the friends list of other people loads your own friends list, despite claiming to load theirs.
