Tips On Looking for 'That' Girl using Google

This is a little tutorial on basic search skills using Google that I think many users are unaware. I know that this may not be the right (sub) forum to post it on but since is pretty related to the topic I'm asking the mods to leave it here (and maybe make it sticky ).

FYI, most of my searchs are done using Reverse Search Engines but keep in mind that for those pics that you never find it's always useful to come to forums like this one where perverts like us usually hang out. The more traffic this forums have, the greater probability that someone identifies the girl. These forums can be places like Freeones, 4Chan, TheChive, to mention a few.

You can find many Reverse Search Engines on the Web. One of the best, until some time ago, was tineye.com that worked very well with a small database until Google jumped in.

If you're a Firefox or Chrome user you'll find some nice add-ons, at least for the main ones.

Needless to say that that Google's great and search for pics using this tool is very easy. Just go to http://images.google.com and click on that little camera icon on the right side of the search bar that displays a tool tip saying 'Search by image'...



This will raise a little popup window that gives you 3 options, each one self-explanatory...

1. Paste image URL
2. Upload an image (from your computer)
3. Drag an drop an image





This kind of search is great, per se. But it gets better. Even when, IMHO, it still has some bugs, Google allows you to add terms to your search so you can refine the results or get a better approach to what you want.



So, what can this terms be? Anything related o that describes your image in a better way... Something that describe the girl (amateur, teen, MILF, jailbait), names of sites where it comes from, and anything that crosses your mind.

Oh, and a tip... don't forget to turn the SafeSearch off for best results.

With this, a little imagination and more free time you'll have to be able to find that girl.

Ah, a fellow search guru. Agreed that Tineye isn't quite what it used to be. Seems they've severely reduced their research bandwidth and lost/deleted a great deal of their indexes. It shows in how out-dated their index is. 90% of my Tineye searches anymore lead to defunct sites, like anothersite. However, I still find Tineye is better than google in regards to different resolutions/crops and minor alterations, like someone photoshopping a different face into an image or changing the exposure to things like b/w or sepia. That is, provided Tineye has indexed the image.

I'd like to add a couple pointers in regards to using google images.

1. Google's "suggested" search terms can often be completely hatch-brained and worthless. You'll find that most often when google inserts its own search terms to correlate with your image, they lead to countless tumblr and other blog-style posts which typically offer absolutely no viable information whatsoever. If you're lucky, google won't suggest any search terms at all, so you'll get a nice, unbiased pool of initial data. If your first search, which hopefully yielded virgin results (no automatically inserted search terms), doesn't supply the information you're looking in the first few pages of results, I suggest adding two specific terms, with this optional third; identify, (girl's hair color), and if you like, a site name, like here or freeones, that has babe identification threads. Bear in mind, google's image search, in the fashion we're using it here, disregards quotation marks and bugs out to zero results if you use exclusionary terms.

2. The "visually similar" function is tricky. If you use the function from the original search results, where you get listed sites instead of a grid of photographs, it will use any search terms that are in the bar, and typically show results that are leaps and bounds from what you're looking for, unless you were concise with your terms and related images of the girl/situation are indexed accordingly, both on google and the sites that are being searched. If you go to "all sizes" or "visually similar" results and then continue to delve further using the visually similar links, your initial search image will be disregarded and your search terms will be blanketed across all indexed images and applied to the last image you clicked "visually similar" for.

3. All images have hardline "tags" built into their internet indexes. You can find two pictures from opposite ends of the web that are exactly the same to look at, and when you click "visually similar" with the exact same search terms, a different set of results will appear. So don't be afraid to use the same image from different sources to help strengthen your searches.

Never fear, though. A little knuckle grease, patience, and a steady eye and you can find anything. I'm actually fixing to start a thread right here involving a girl that I have found over 100 different images of using these methods, but, unfortunately, still haven't found what I'm specifically looking for. However, the more I find, the closer I get.

Here is how I became a master at reverse image searches. You can use the following websites:

karmadecay.com/ - Upload your photo or do a direct link to the URL. I Always start here as it searches on Reddit, Google, Bing (which is actually REALLY good for finding image matches) and the website below (Imageops). In most reddit comments people will link the galleries if the image exists on reddit.

imgops.com/ - Look for the reverse/similar search and try all of their options, you will get some results. This website also has MANY useful tools such as being able to post the image to many image hosting sites, edit it into a gif (or edit a current gif), add effects (if you are into that sort of thing) and convert the image to another picture format. Great site.

pictriev.com/ - This does facial recognition on images. Still needs to have some kinks worked out, but this has helped me find out if some girls are pros or amateurs.

One thing I do sometimes is click "All sizes" and check the site with the higher resolution, they more likely have the source.
