I actually read "Red Dragon" before the movie "The Silence of the Lambs" was made (or at least before I saw it). Loved it.

He was in Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911. Thus he is also a movie villian. Personally I wouldn't state hes a favorite, maybe the most despised.

Everybody has to agree with Lord Vader, but Gary Oldman in the Professional (Leon) was outstanding.

I'd have to say Gary Oldman as well, in the professional you actually started to hate him. And let's not forget he also played an extremely scary Dracula.

Christian slaters charracter JD in the movie "Heathers" i think has to qualify for my favourite villan he's a psychotic and tries to blow up westerberg high in the end on the movie hehehehe he drives around on his Bike with his Trusty .38 Revolver and comes out with cool sayings. Anyone else like him as a villan?

I'd have to go with the Anti-Christ from the Omen. I mean, it's a seven year old who controls all of the forces of evil.
Either that or the leprachaun. I mean, a leprachaun.

Have you noticed how cool villains costumes are?
What about Clancy Brown as The Kurgen in Highlander. I know the movie isn't a classic, but Clancy was terrific!
