I normally stay outta other country's stuff but, this article just pissed me off...RANT.

Apparently Switzerland Authorities have killed there "only" wild bear, M13; out of "fear it might do something" - I mean really ? What a pussy freaking country & pussy ass people !!! I'm not trying to flame people on here or nothing, but don't you all have a Zoo or 2 ya could have put him in... Shit.. If I shot everything I "feared" & didn't do anything to me, I'd be in prison for a mighty long time.

Switzerland = anti - wildlife unless it's a cute freaking bird or duck. Awww my poor behive got raided - kill that Bear !!!

Supposed to be one of the world leaders for life & non aggression and they go ahead and do this shit !!!

A bear is not even aggressive unless you annoy him or he has cubs. So they just could have let him...
We get the same problem in France with the few wild bears and wolves remaining : people fearing them out of ignorance and wanting to kill them because you know, that's "THEIR" land...

The problem with bears is that they are very easily habituated...meaning once they start relying on man for a quick snack from the garbage can, they likely will never stop. So while that particular bear may not have shown signs of aggresion, I think we can all agree that it isn't exactly safe to allow a bear to roam the streets of Val Poschiavo, Switzerland looking for his next meal. However, I don't know why they just couldn't have relocated him like they do often where I'm from.
