Why are Stills still so sort after this day and age

So there are so many site dedicated to just photos in this day and age and even video clip ones my question is why?
with internet speeds this day and age why does every one want a photo or a video of a web cam girl rather then going to a cam site?
its not like it hard to find good information of the sites before you join them [link removed] lists 2 that you dont even have to register to watch cams, and if your not picky a tone of public free shows, well most of the time someone has paid for it but you can still watch.
and if you do register its free until you want to pay for it and thats just 2 sites there are so many of them out there
So why is everyone still so hung up on recorded videos and images now days. I understand the celeb thing but most of the stuff are of cam girls so why look at a still when you could find her live?

Because movie prohibits you from developing your imagination, which is one of the main arousal pillars.

but a live feed isnt a movie and there are many none public nudes models so you imagination can run wild with exceptions and thoughts so... i dont know how that would really be the case plus a sexy women's voice can be mind blowing and add so much more to the imagined fantasy

To answer your question : because not all pics and vids are from camgirls, far from it. They are in fact not allowed here as they are considered pro (even though there are surely some in the database). So people looking for real amateur content won't be interested in cam shows. Secondly, not everyone wants the same thing and as kjp said, pictures leave way more to the imagination than videos or cam shows. Cam shows aren't really diversified too : most of them are a girl (or two) in a room chatting, masturbating or posing.

Because you don't get pictures like this, this, or this from watching cam sites.

I see where you coming from but honestly on cam sites that i have been on there is at most a hand full girls that are pro (been in low budget pronos) 1 or 2 that you could call porn stars and then the rest are very much the girl next door and even 1st timers doing any thing even slightly sexy photo or video if you bypass top rooms where 99% of the plastic is and head to the decent rooms imo then not only will you find girls that arnt getting naked you can find some really good ones that leave you fantasizing about so much more for hours later. I do find that 90% of these amateurs pic sites of more high production style then a lot of the cam girls air brushing and editing just ruin the whole fantasy for me in photos

I was watching a cam show with a girl out of a nature hike it .There is girl that drives all over town with her cam flashing at traffic lights I cant say I have seen a beach cam yet but the nature hike did involve a creek swim suit and later for the guys that had cash to spend some fun under a tree and she is a veterinarian / animal rescue person who as a 3 legged cat a blind dog and another cat that I cant remember what was wrong with it but either way she is just normal girl she cams for the fun of it and its not her day job or passion by far

Dude, why can't you accept that some people like pics? Not everyone's opinion has to agree with yours. I personally don't like a zoomed in picture of a snatch - I'd rather see the curves of a lady, but I don't find it incomprehensible that someone else might.

IF they are getting paid to do it, they are no longer amateurs. Period. While a cam girl may not be a typical porn star, she is still very much part of the sex industry as she's getting paid to be on cam.

I enjoy cam girls very much, I am a regular on one of the popular sites and even tried my hand at it myself, so I'm not knocking cam sites at all. However, I think watching a cam feed and looking at pictures are two very different things. There is interaction while watching a cam, you get to talk to the model and that in itself can be kinda sexy, where as in pictures there is zero interaction, but some pictures are able to capture emotion, mystery, and a type of sexiness that cams just can't.

yes i agreed zoomed up cam arnt all that fun but but its the same in the photo world there a bunch of that out there as well the big difference I feel is that with a cam feed you get to see the true beauty of the model you not getting this posed photo shopped semi fake image you get to see the unedited beauty of the person. (yes there I know there out there just few and far between just like the roght cam room) Now in saying that sitting there watching some girl sit on a bed waiting on some tipper before she even makes a move... its dull as hell but right girl right site she doesnt even need to get naked and she has guys throwing tips at her or wishing they could.

Im not saying every needs my opinion my question isnt way arnt we all watching cams its why are there still so many picture sites this day and age with the crowds all following the trends with most tech why is that a still shot, still holds that large of an audience even more so now that ever kid and there dog know how to use photo shop (some not so well)
I still not convinced its more of a lack of effort and funding on web masters part that keep such a high volume of still sites running around the net most sites tend to just be a collection of other peoples works which most likely came from someone else before that.
(personally Id rather watch a cam feed the right one at lest over looking at the same pic for how ever long, but I would take a still over some recorded video. I would have to say the interaction with of a camgirl is so much more fun then a still tho i guess some people might talk and interact with pictures of people.....)

Pictures capture the imagination, it's really that simple for me.

I don't like cam sites because I like my computer virus, spamware, maleware free and also not having my credit card stolen. Also 100% of the cam shows I've watch is just a boring girl doing nothing waiting for tips or a private show... And yes, that's even beyond the "first page" girls.

I've never gotten a virus or malware from a cam site, nor have I had my credit card info stolen, but then again I use a Mac. Also, I think you might have been on the wrong site. Many girls are very entertaining.

No serious site would have an interest putting viruses as it would only lead people away from it.
The only sites where you get viruses are the weird ones that are specifically done for that (the content of the site could be porn, cams or whatever, it doesn't matter). On rare occasion a virus can pop on an ad for example, if it's been compromised, but that's something you can avoid if you block them or use noscript (and that will be fixed very quick if the site is serious).
Finally, any decent (even free ones) antivirus will stop this kind of threat.

As for the credit cards, as long as the site is secured, doesn't use dodgy subscriptions, and is pretty well known, you have lower chance to have problem here than paying in real life with it.

Does the web cam site www.webcamnow.com still exist? I am guilty of having participated there sometime ago, Sometimes it was pretty exciting, they had men and women on web cam interacting with each other and viewers. I did it for a while.

Jus to make sure it is still there I checked.........
