WebCam Software - Open Source/Freeware

I bought my wife a laptop (ACER) and it has a Crystal Eye webcam built into it. The software that came with the laptop will only take pictures and no wideo. Video will work on MSN but I have no software to save the video files to my HDD. Can anyone recommend any free software that I could check out?

This is all I have found as of now. I can't vouch for these programs as my Google-fu found them.
