The rules of dating..

There is this girl that I met at school.... yes I know this is childish, but I have only been with her for a week and I think i am in love. Now every guy knows that there are specific rules when it comes to dating, such as keep them interested, and dont give aaway what u are feeling. With this girl, I broke ALL the rules, and now have put myself in this place that I have never been before. I have lost all the control in this relationship, and I dont know what is going to happen.

I guess the point of this thread is to either give me advice on what to do from personal experience, or to share your rules of dating and share when u have broken them.

Ok, once those rules are broken, you must sit back and wait. Make her laugh and enjoy the time around you. If she is interested she will come around. And the "I love you" U better hold off on saying that. That will doom you in if you havent said it already. If you have, you better hope she sees something in you. But if all the rules are broken, take her out, sit her down later and say that you are interested in seeing her on a more permanent basis later on if she wants to, and when she is comfortable. But see her as much as possible, with out being clingy, or controlling. Let her move at her pace, and things should turn out well. But save the I love you for atleast a month or two of serious time spent. And you will know when she is ready cause you will get a random call saying I miss you, and I wanted to hear your voice......... But lets let other reply too, preferably the lady members, they will have better advice then I can give you. But slow down, dont rush things, if you care for her, you will be able to do that, and who knows, she may come around sooner then you think.

Just kidding. Slow it down dramatically before you wind up at Niagra Falls
in the honeymoon suite (does anyone still go there?). Give it some time
to cool a little and see how your feelings are. With me, what always seemed
like love at first was only really intense lust. Are you basing this only on looks
and lust or personality? Time will tell if she tries to take advantage of your
feelings or honestly shares them.

Well, you are right about letting her know all of your feelings and whatnot. Being too open is a problem. I learned that the hard way.

I think most girls want a fun guy that has an edge. Mysterious, but not completely an asshole. Just most of the way.

Of course, I think most girls are crazy - so what do I know?
