Sorry it got busy and I had to count out.
So I have a shitty part time job I have to keep in the summer to guaranty ill get hours in the winter when my construction/landscaping business slows down. It's a cash job and most of the time its easy money. But today I must be crabby because everything is pissing me off. I work next to a nail salon and a tanning place. So there's always chicks parking parking all shitty and whatnot. Keep in mind we have fairly wide parking spaces. I serve and deliver food so I'm always in and out, and I usually just laugh about the poor parking skills of these female drivers. But I'm crabby today so when I was forced to park in avery tight spot next to an explorer clearly owned by a girl I decided to park so close she wouldn't be able to get in her car. Keep in mind I'm almost on the curb and she has plenty of room in her space(like 3 feet). So when she comes out from the nail place she sees she won't be able to enter her car without climbing through the passenger side. Perplexed she comes into my restaurant and demands I move my car. I tell her she has to wait until I'm ready to leave in about five minutes. She whines about having to be somewhere in "like" five minutes then storms out telling me to go fuck myself. I decide to watch her as she leaves. she reaches in her suv starts it and pulls out an industrial sized file she probably uses to file her shallacked nails to fine points for stabbing people and proceeds to gouge out a canyon deep deep scratch down the entire length of my car. Then quickly hops in and takes off. All the while I'm able to quickly snap a pic of her license plate. She pulls out and I hop in my car and follow her across the street to Walmart. I watch her park and walk in while I'm on the phone with the cops. When she comes out I'm waiting with a cop and she immediately begins crying, and calling her dad. He shows up and she is trying to deny it and her dad is buying it until I tell her I have witnesses and a pic. The cops tell her dad she is being charged and he agrees to pay for the damage if I don't press charges. The whole thing is that I could give zero Shits about the scratch because its my old beater I keep around solely for mpgs. Either way the scratch is so deep they would have to replace every panel on that side. Cha-ching$$$. So now that money plus some that I have saved will allow to put down half the money down on the bike I've been looking at since last summer.
so the moral of this story is girls are shitty drivers and shouldn't be trusted. And above all else, don't fuck with me when I'm crabby...I will make you pay!

Anyway, this was hardly worth the wait. But it is an unimaginably great example of what happens when fate brings two jerks together in a parking lot. I feel sorry for the cop and for her father, and I am amazed that you are expecting applause or props for being such an idiot.

You ran into a bitch, no doubt, but to say that I'm a shitty driver and can't be trusted is retarded and rude. Also, I'm not sure about where you live, but using money (I'm assuming its insurance?) that is supposed to go to fix your car and buying a bike with it is probably illegal. So yeah...not exactly the classiest act either.

There no illegality unless he tries to collect twice. The value of the damage is what it is..... Whether he chooses to fix it or accept the loss of value for the money rightfully paid is not illegal, even if it is against the spirit of insurance. Happens all the time, like in a business that burns down and the owners choose to retire instead of rebuild.
