You have got to be kidding me. Seattle is the true Super Bowl champion right now and anyone who thinks differently is just plain wrong! I like how Steelerfan is the ONLY person in the world that thinks the officiating was OK in that game but everyone else on the planet thinks it sucked. The refs should never influence any game like they did that one.

I'm gonna say Seattle vs. Indy

I have the game on dvd. I've seen it probably 10 times. There was a bad call or two, there usually is in any game. But to say that The Steelers won just because of it is simply asinine. Just a bunch of sore loser whining.

Explain something to me then. Why did the NFL not fine Mike Holmgren for the comments he made? "We didn't know we were going to have to play the guys in the striped shirts too." A comment like that receives a fine 100% of the time. Why not this time?

Because the NFL knows there was a problem in that game.

This is impossible to nail. Vegas changes their odds daily depending upon injury, contract disputes as well as player progression/regression. That being said...

AFC - I think Dungy and company are as solid as it comes. They lost James, but have enough talent and cohesion at every other position, not to mention a great field general, to get it done. Pickin up Adam Venaterri damn sure didnt hurt them either. So Im going with the Colts here.

NFC - This is a fuckin craps shoot. Chicago is going to have the toughest defense in this conf. but nothing about their offense scares me. The Panthers and Seahawks are both tough, well coached teams, and the Skins could come out and be very impressive... but Im going to go with the Hawks again. Holmgren is a great coach, and Alexander is a monster, still!

Final - Colts 35 Hawks 24 (Manning shakes off that monkey finaly)

Pittsburg is another team thats hard (read impossible) to rule out. I know I jumped directly to the Colts in the AFC... but the Steelers, Dolphins and Chargers (yes, L.T. is still the man, and if Rivers is half as productive as Breese was... watch out) could all make some huge waves. The AFC has been a fuckin gunfight the past few years, and probably will be. The offense that most of the coaches run, as well as the defensive schemes make for a slugfest. Its like Loyola Marymount's basketball teams under coach Leighton... his philosophy was "We will outscore you. You may toss up 100, but we will toss up 120" Whereas the NFC is more smashmouth football. Defense is the key there. They dont have all the flashy Q.B.'s but they tend to have the more well rounded defenses. Like I said, its a craps shoot. Ask me this question again on Jan 1, 2007 and I can give you a more solid answer.

Steelers lost too much????? Chris Hope (replaced by Tyrone Carter, Ryan Clark, or rookie Anthony Smith...All will do the job just as effectively..and HOPEfully won't get run over as much)...Antwaan Randle El (Replaced by Willie Reid in the punt return game..Doesn't take much to replace him at WR...But Santonio Holmes, Nate Washington, Cedrik Wilson, Willie Reid, and Quincy Morgan can do just a fine job complimenting Ward)...and Jerome Bettis...He is a tough guy to replace...But Willie Parker rushed for over 1,200 yards last season playing part time. Duce Staley and Verron Haynes will replace Bettis...

Steelers win Super Bowls in twos...So here it is..

Steelers 27
Cowboys 17
