well poems and short stories published and sold do have copyrights, people can easily copy those and claim it as theirs, there would be a small chance that theyd be found out and them sued, but i really have no idea how that would implicate WBW..

well, we could make it obligatory to write the name and website down if you copy&paste it.
don't think many ppl would have a problem with that since it's considered very sad to get credits for work you didn't do.

I thought that when someone publishes copyrighted works here, the original writer of the story needs to contact WBW before being able to sue. ofcourse WBW would immediately remove such a writing and perhaps we could even punish the member responsible for it when it happens again.

perhaps we could create a story/poem/limmerick/member-experienced forum for it.
I'd be more then happy to moderate it. Just that forum though, otherwise it would, indeed, be too much work if combined with other forums.

bach, in my opinion The Lounge was intended for anything that didn't fit the other forums. You could say that stories and such would fit The Lounge too. Yet, I'm talking about creating a forum specifically for stories and such, making it a new genre. "Stories and related only"

I like the idea. It would be nice to see one of those forums here.

And as for the copyright issue. That's pretty much the case for all story sites on the net. It's quite impossible to know if a person really did write the story. But if someone else can show that they really did write it, it would ofcourse be taken down.

Rules... hmmm.
- Well, for starters, the title of the topic needs to say what it's about. So if it's girl/girl, threesome, bondage, S&M, MILF, whatever.
- we *could* allow stuff like animal sex, grannysex, young childrens sex since it's only stories. but to be honest I doubt anyone has the guts to post a story about that, I doubt anyone will read them and I doubt WBW wants to be associated with such practices, even if they're only stories.
- storylenght is not a problem I guess. short stories are preferred but if you want to describe the sex between all partners in a 2000 ppl orgy then by god, please do . as long as it's entertaining. I guess responces from the audience will soon enough make clear what is too long and what is too short.
- stories could be reviewed by mods before they're posted for the general public, making sure they're up to the standards and rules of the forum. nobody likes to read a story with bad grammar or if it's only 5 lines long. It distracts from the wanking-process . this way we would ensure only good stories hit the forum, instead of getting crap aswell and having to moderate that after posting. still, it's a form of censure which I don't like.
- no spamming allowed. at all.
- topic of stories are unimportant. either at a funfare or at the boss' wife's sister's nephew's coffeeshop around the corner, it doesn't matter. as long as the other rules, ofcourse, are followed .

All except the bolded one sound good. I don't care if it's a picture, movie or a story - childporn is always childporn and should be kept far away from WBW and normal people.

yeah I was thinking about the same thing. reason I posted it here is because I don't want to rule anyone out of their sexual preferences. obviously they've come to the wrong place if they're looking for animalsex. still, I wish to cater all needs and loki's reply hinted in the direction of the not-so-standard-stories-containing-grandmothers-and-other-stuff-normal-ppl-don't-have-sex-with.

Most story sites have an age-limit of 15 years old for persons involved in the stories. That is the legal age of consent in many countries.

I think there would be more then enough ppl to write those stories. don't forget that by getting this extra forum, ppl who have written something themselves will stay longer. reading other stories will prolly make them write more.
