Speakers wont work

I think I deleted something from my programs and now my speakers wont work. I think it is a driver that I need to reinstall, but I tried and it didnt work. They are realtek speakers with a subwoofer. Thanks

Plug a n iPod or something else into the speakers to see if they play. The hardware (your speakers) wouldn't be affected if you deleted a software driver on your machine.

If the speakers do in fact work with another external source, the problem lies within your computer. Try using Windows Restore to go back to a date when everything was working.

You could try more complicated ways, but Windows Restore is going to be quick and easy.

they worked in my laptop, I had to go onto another website and download a new driver, I tried from dell but it didnt work their customer service was useless
