It's not going to kill 10,000 - their meltdowns are going to be relatively contained, as far as everything sounds, but still, nuclear meltdowns are not good times. I just see the footage of what appears to be an explosion at that one plant, and I think...do we really know the full extent of the damage to that plant? If its as bad as it potentially could be...then its very bad. If it was in fact just part of the concrete shell that surounds a metal enclosure, then if then get things under control it won't be so bad.
