WBW members are mostly respectful of women, at least by standards of porn sites. We can class up the site further, while still enjoying women in various states of undress and sexual entanglement, in a very simple way: Use personal pronouns - variations of "she" and "her," instead of "it" and "that." After all, English personal pronouns are meant for people, not objects, and vice versa.

What do you think?

I've seen quite a few "it" or "that" in the comments. I though I was missing some grammatical use of these words but I guess not

Trend so far is for no change.

Sometimes "that" is appropriate and not at all disrespectful if you are referring to more than the girl in the picture.

A person might be referring to a combination of the girl, her expression, her outfit, her pose, the scenery, etc.

Or if the obvious focus of the photo is her ass.

True, but many would say, "I'd hit that ass" rather than "I'd hit her ass"

Why?

Cause to men, sex is just sex, we don't involve emotions when it comes to sex unlike women

so by saying I'd tap her ass instead of tap that could imply that you only wanna hit her ass and not as much ass as possible

Haha, id hit her ass sounds like you want to hit it with a paddle or something, it doesnt sound right.

Nice stereotypes.

Actually, I do value an' view women in a personal an' appreciative way, not as objects. But I also know I've been 'guilty' of objectifying them by not always using personal pronouns in commentary...
It may be worth pointing out that sometimes a picture of a woman can connect with a viewer in such a personal way that she is just more than beautiful body parts...she sparks the viewer's imagination, their passion, etc. For me, this is much easier when a woman's face, smile an' eyes are in the picture. This is the way that most humans establish that first personal connection - eye contact, a smile...something on a very personal level. The same may be true with pictures as in a real life setting...
If all that is seen is just a body part, there is little chance of a personal connection in the viewer's mind, an' I suggest that it is more likely the comment will be objectifying the woman. If a picture shows a beautiful pair of legs but nothing above the waist...it's more likely the comment would be "Those are gorgeous legs" rather than "She's got beautiful legs." To many viewers, they are just a great pair of legs, not a whole person.
It's a big part psychology an' - as the saying goes - "it's complicated." I'm in agreement that it would be classier to personalize the comments on this multitude of beautiful women here at WBW...I'm just suggesting here that it may involve instinctive and unconscious reactions...an' thus, may be most difficult to correct or to change...It is definitely worth trying though. I respect an' value the wonderful women who contribute to an' are a part of this terrific site...If for no other reason, maybe we can show a bit more class for their sake.
'Have a great weekend, everyone!

To say "I'd hit that ass" is definitely objectifying. Men and women do that all the time. (Women say " I'd eat that hunk alive"

I guess I was more referring to statements like "That is hot as fuck" or 'That is so sexy"

Could be talking about the photo. "That" is a hot photo.

You are right. Could also refer to an aspect of the photo such as situation, position, clothing. Usually you can tell those from the objectifying ones, but not always.

What people must also bear in mind is that English is not every member's first language. WBW is truly a international community and i think a lot of the grammatical errors are purely "lost in translation". My two cents

Honestly - I really couldn't care less. It would only matter to me if it's the significant person I know in real life.

Whatever way you guys describe the pics - enjoy it

So now you want people to use proper grammar to make a comment on a picture? I find it more annoying that there are some people on here that make the same comments over and over and over again. I would name names but I'm sure to the regulars on here know who they are as well as I do. Just my opinion, like it or not, I don't really care.
