run a program when internet is connected

i need to run a program every time that i connect to internet. How to do that?

if youre running windows, you could just put it in your startup folder. it would start up everytime you run your computer. if youre connected to broadband that shouldnt matter. not sure of a way to do it just when you connect though. maybe someone else will know.

I think more importantly, what are you trying to do? Maybe there is a workaround for what you are trying to accomplish.
