it will work with most water-based drinks.
im sure that some of you know about these things but if you're wondering about whats going on, check out this phase diagram:
vertical lines = isotemp, horizontal = isobar
room temp water would like point 7, your drinks under pressure are at a point like 5 when the pressure falls (because the seal is broken), your drink quickly looses pressure and lands in the solid (ice) region at point 3. it would be really cool if any of you had the ability to open the container in a near vacuum setting to watch it go liquid, solid, vapor - really fast... its easier to do with substances other than water though since all fluids have different regions.
