Yorkshire Bitter brewed near York /Leeds. Goo English bitter beer with a creamy head. This is the can I get as an import. I did have a case of 12 bottles shipped to me last Christmas, and It cost me near enough a weeks wages and six weeks till I got it. Stick to the cans now

At the moment I am doing contract work in NZ and as such have to adapt to the beer. This beer, speights, has been gobbled up by LD Nathon and is a shadow on what it used to be years ago. Ah well, thats life

Portugal.......... I have drunk it, on a football trip in the mid nineties. I am told though it is one of the top bottled beers.

Portugal

One of the truly none chemical beers. Still brews in the bottle (not released for 4 weeks after bottling) Meets the criteria of traditional ale, and sells well throughout UK

OK, I gotta add this. Truly this is a beer that if you have never tried it, you need to put a reminder on your cell and next time you go donw the offy or booze shop, buy it. Seriously France's number 1 "biere de Garde", brewed from a secret, special recipe, and it is held in fermentation for 40 days before the beer is drawn off into the bottles, cans and barrels. I havent been in a westernised country yet where it cant be got. It is a worldwide beer but you have to search for it. I get mine from the local tavern.

Damn the lack of voice tones in text. But yea I did look to be complaining.

Im sure there are some Krauts on this site. (hope thats not a derrogitory term for Germans)
and holy fuck yes you have tried a buncha beer. I Love guiness, Corona, Woodchuck Pear Cider is great too but not beer.

I have had lowenbrau ONCE and fell in love.

Na didnt think you were complaining at all. I sometimes forget that Aussie and Kiwi beers are not always available around the world, except for the big breweries. We have one called Mac's and a small boutique type brewery that would knock the socks of many a beer, but outside of NZ it is as rare as a positive story about Michael Jackson

In 1981 a guy lost his job from a big national brewery, so he bought the equipment off them when they closed down. Today he owns the largest micro brewery in New Zealand. At the time I was working in the same City and went to the party for the first batch sold. The National breweries wouldnt take his beer so he bought into a pub. Great story and great beer.

Unfortunately, my favorite beer (besides Guiness, of course) does not have any hotlink-able images. So, I will just give you guys the link to their site. If you are ever in Virginia, try it. I am sure you'll love it!
